OFSAA “A” CHAMPIONSHIP HEAR WE COME!
Nov. 17, 2023 – ELMVALE – Congratulations to the Senior Girls EDHS basketball team (grades 11 and 12) for winning their GB’s to move on to OFFSA in Belleville. Senior Girls Basketball Team will be traveling to Belleville Ontario on Wednesday November 22, 2023 to compete in the OFSAA ‘A’ Championships. This is the first time in 40 years that a girls basketball team from Elmvale has competed at this level, and we are proud to represent our community. The team is comprised of 12 players and 2 coaches. Well done girls, Let’s go Elmvale
Murray Donaldson Memorial Golf Tournament Raises Fund for GBGH
Nov. 15, 2023 – MIDLAND – The tournament successfully raised $1,330.51, which was donated to GBGH Foundation towards the purchase of an MRI machine for GBGH.
The 4th annual Murray Donaldson Memorial Golf Tournament at Brooklea Golf & Country Club. The tournament consisted of a 4-member team scramble, and an 18-hole mini putt challenge held at Balm Beach Mini Putt for those unable to participate in the scramble. A BBQ lunch was served to all participants after the tournament, at The Place. Prizes were awarded and a silent auction was held to raise funds for Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH).
