Penetanguishene Parking Regulations

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to inform residents that timed parking regulations are in effect from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, there are no parking restrictions in designated timed parking areas. Please also note there are NO OVERNIGHT PARKING in any municipal lot.
Here is a summary of the current timed parking limits by street:
- Robert Street West – 2-hour parking limit
- All down Main Street – 2-hour parking limit
- Simcoe Street – 2-hour parking limit
- Northwest corner of Water Street – 2-hour parking limit
- Water Street – 2-hour parking limit
- Peel Street – 4-hour parking limit
- Jeffery Street – 4-hour parking limit
- Anne Street – 4-hour parking limit
- Lucy Street – 4-hour parking limit

Penetang Cultural Heritage Value

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Penetanguishene passed the following by-laws to designate properties as being of cultural heritage value or interest under Section 29, Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.18.
- By-law 2025-18 (13 Fox Street)
- By-law 2025-19 (13 Peel Street)
- By-law 2025-20 (21 Peel Street)
- By-law 2025-21 (26 Water Street)
- By-law 2025-22 (27 Church Street)
- By-law 2025-23 (58 Robert Street East)

Appeals may be filed with the Clerk via the Ontario Land Tribunal e-file service at olt.gov.on.ca/e-file-service by selecting Penetanguishene (Town of) as the Approval Authority. If the e-file portal is down, you can submit your appeal to planning@penetanguishene.ca.The appeal must set out the reasons for the appeal and be accompanied by the fee prescribed by the Ontario Land Tribunal. The appeal fee of $1,100 can be paid online through e-file or by certified cheque/money order to the Minister of Finance, Province of Ontario.
