Wing walking takes great physical strength. Sam and Mike are a husband and wife team of engineers. When asked about the safety of this feat, Sam comments that there were many hours of sitting at the kitchen table with her husband and pilot calculating risk factors and engineering the safety straps.
Drawing on their heritage as veteran RCAF pilots, Todd Farrell, Greg Hume-Powell and Mario Hamel are the Northern Stars Aeroteam. Flying the classic Pitts Special in tight, precision formations and wringing it out with exciting freestyle maneuvers.! .“It feels like a home town show to us. Lucky to be invited back again the last four years. You can be anywhere around the bay and get amazing views.”, Todd said.
