OPP Seek Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Overnight Robbery of Penetang Convenience Store

(PENETANGUISHENE,ON) – Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect from an overnight robbery of a Penetanguishene convenience store.
Uniform officers responded shortly after 7:43 p.m. September 21, 2025, to the Circle K store on Main Street after an unknown individual entered the store and brandished a sharp edged weapon toward the clerk demanding cash. Suspect left the store with a small amount of cash from the cash register and fled the scene on foot.
Suspect was not located in the area after a search by members of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine (K-9) unit and the OPP Remotely Piloted Aerial System (RPAS)
Suspect is described as being male white, grey eyes, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, work gloves and a ski mask.
Investigators seek your assistance in identifying the suspect. (See attached photographs 1-3)
