Senior Social Coffee and Craft
Drop by the library for a fun afternoon of crafting and socializing! One morning a month we will have a simple craft activity set up in the branch along with light refreshments. This is an excellent opportunity for seniors in the community to connect for a fun morning of creativity! Friday October 10, 11am-12noon at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. Registration required.

Drop-In Craft
The library will be offering a fun drop-in craft every month. This month you can make a paper cup ghost. This program will be available as long as supplies last. Thursday October 16 at Elmvale and Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free.

Monday October 20 to Saturday October 25 is Ontario Public Library week! We invite you to visit, celebrate and discover all the FREE things the library has to offer you! Want to learn guitar? We’ve got one you can check out! Are your children tired of your toys at home? We’ve got dinosaur, fidget toys, donut maker, truck waffle maker kits and more you can take home, enjoy and bring back! Feel like a karaoke party – we’ve got a machine you can take home and hone those singing skills! At Springwater Public Library we’re all about connecting minds, and creating futures so come check us out!
Understanding your Conflict Style
In partnership with the South Georgian Bay Community Health Centre: Struggling with conflict? How we handle conflict can really affect our relationships and our well-being. The good news is that becoming more aware of five conflict styles can help us become less reactive and more creative when we are in difficult conversations. Developing an understanding of these five conflict styles can be a good first step in improving our communication when in conflict.
