Book Club – First Thursday of each month, 4:00pm – 5:00pm
The book club is resuming this fall. We meet once a month at the library to discuss a pre-selected book. December’s book is ‘The Hidden Storyteller’ by Mandy Robotham. After December we will be taking a break in January and starting again on the first Thursday of February. If you have any questions about the book club, please contact the library.
A minimum of 5 participants is needed to run the program.

Senior’s Info Series
In collaboration with many organizations, we are proud to present a series of presentations about seniors’ issues and concerns on Thursdays this November. Spaces are limited. These presentations are open to the public. A library card is not required. A minimum of 5 people is required to run a program. We hope you can sign up for the following;
- Nov 27, 10:30-11:30 – Stay sharp: Keeping your mind active as you age. Speaker: North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services Program.
Reindeer Swag Craft Workshop – Friday, November 21, 4:00 to 6:00
$25.00 for members, $30.00 for non-members
Nonrefundable or transferable and a minimum of 5 participants is required to run the program. All materials are Included. October 20 – 27, registration open for Penetanguishene taxpaying members with a valid library card. After Oct 27th registration is open to everyone.

Christmas Craft – Friday November 28, 4:00-5:00pm
Make a snowman for your Christmas Tree. $1.00 for members, $2.00 FOR non-members. Nov 3 – Nov 7 registration open for Penetanguishene taxpaying members with a valid library card. After November 8th Registration is open to everyone. All ages, non-transferable and non-refundable. A minimum of 5 people is required to run a program.
Teddy Bear Giving Tree
Choose to take your bear home or donate after Dec 15th. All donations will be given to Georgian Bay Native Women’s Association after Dec 15th. Large bears $10.00, small bears $5.00. Cash Only. Receive a ballot for a chance to win the topper a Bearington Holden Presents Christmas bear.
