NEW! Storytime at Minesing Branch

Join Kaitlyn for Storytime in the library! We will be singing songs, reading stories and having fun! At the end of each Storytime program, families can take home a free craft! Tuesdays at 11am, Minesing Branch (Wednesdays 10:30am at Midhurst Branch with Miss Amanda). Cost: Free. Registration required.

Drop-In Craft

The library will be offering a fun drop-in craft every month. This month you can make a gnome door hanger. This program will be available as long as supplies last. Thursday November 20 at Elmvale and Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free.

Library Board Member: Township of Tiny Representative

Passionate about libraries? Looking for a great way to serve your community? Springwater Township Public Library is a vital connector, bringing people, businesses and organizations together through programs and services that empower our residents. This is an opportunity to contribute to a vital community service. As a board member, you serve as a community representative, library advocate and supporter. Candidates must be 18 years old, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a resident of the Township of Tiny. Application deadline is noon Friday November 21 and are available at the Elmvale library, Township of Tiny Admin building or online at: www.tiny.ca/committeeopportunities.

EarlyON at Storytime!

At Storytime this week we’re hosting special guest: EarlyON! Come out with your friends and enjoy some songs, stories and take home a simple craft. Tuesday November 25 at 10:30am, Elmvale Branch. Cost: Free. No registration required for this drop in program.

Death Café: Interactive Workshop

This workshop from the South Georigan Bay Community Health Centre offers a unique gathering, where individuals come together to share sweet treats, sip tea, and engage in conversations about death. Unlike grief support or counselling session, Death cafe is a discussion group with no set agenda or themes. Hosted by the South Georgian Bay Community Health Centre, these sessions are led by a Pain and Palliative Symptom Management Nurse Consultant along with a representative from the SGBCHC. Tween/Teen Program

Have a furry friend in your life? Treat them to a new look with a custom-made bandana. It is guaranteed to make you their favourite human! Tuesday November 25, 5:30pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost per item. Registration required.

Intro to Genealogy

This program will provide you with a basic understanding of how to begin your genealogy journey online and in the library. It will highlight some local history books, genealogy materials, Ancestry Library Edition, and some other online resources. Friday November 28, 2pm-3pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost: FREE. Registration required.

Take and Make Craft

Every month the library will have a new FREE craft kit for you to take home and make! Each month be sure to stop by and ask staff for a kit! Kits are only available while supplies last. Monday December 1 is a Moose Craft.

Santa Storytime

Santa is coming to the library! He’ll share some stories, answer your questions, sing carols, and you can even tell him what you’d like for Christmas this year! Photos and videos are welcome. A take home Christmas craft will be provided. Saturday December 6, 10:30am at Elmvale Branch and 1:30pm at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. Registration required.

12 Days of Holiday Fun

Join us for 12 days of activities and crafts! Lego challenges, hot chocolate, and card making and more! Free! Drop In! Monday December 8 – Saturday December 20.

Senior Social Coffee and Crafting

Drop by the library for a fun afternoon of crafting and socializing! One morning a month we will have a simple craft activity set up in the branch along with light refreshments. This is an excellent opportunity for seniors in the community to connect for a fun morning of creativity! Friday December 12, 11am-12noon at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. Registration required.
