BEAUCHAMP, Lucille (nee Laurin)

Passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 87.  Before entering hospice Lucy was a resident of the Barrieview retirement community. Lucy was the loving wife of Marc who passed away in 2021.  She will be sadly missed by her sons Rick, Rob (Monica), Greg (Sherry) and Don (Jill).  Memere will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Natasha, Caitlin (Louis), Emma, Benjamin (Amanda), Danielle (Tony), Fletcher (Rebecca) and her great grandchildren Sophie and Corbin.  She will be missed by her step-brother Norm (Eleanor Dault) and her many nieces and nephews.  Lucy is predeceased by her mother Zelie and father Majoric, step-mother Margaret Laurin, brother Gabriel, step-sister Dorothy (Joe Griffith), step-brother Fred (Helen Dault), her sister Pauline (Jerry) and sister Louise (Gabriel).  Lucy will also be remembered by a close circle of friends and teaching colleagues.  Visitation will be held on Thursday April 30th at 9:00 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie.  Followed by a Funeral Mass, celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 13 Baldwin Lane, Barrie at 11:30 a.m.  A luncheon served by the CWL will follow in the church hall.  Interment will take place at Ste.Croix Cemetery, Lafontaine on Saturday May 2nd.  Donations to Covenant House or the Alzheimer Society in memory of Lucy would be greatly appreciated.
