HAMELIN, Heather Lynn

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Lynn Hamelin (nee Reynolds) of Wyevale in her 66th year. Heather courageously fought a lengthy health battle and passed peacefully in hospital with her family by her side on July 21, 2025.

Heather was loved and cherished by her large family and many friends. She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 48 years, Jack. She also leaves behind her children Leah (Scott), Joanna (Randy), and Joshua (Denise). She was adored be her many grandchildren; Chloe, Ava, Tyson, Ryder, Killian, Alora, Arya, Kiely, Liam, Mason, Joel, Jed, James, Jill, Jake and Jack.  Heather was the loving daughter of Gillian Reynolds, predeceased by her father Laurence and brother Bruce. She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Janice, Carolyn, Sheila and Barry.

Heather is remembered fondly for her love of gardening, her loving commitment to her family and her years of volunteer work with Girl Guides of Canada. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday, July 26, from 11am-1pm at Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale, followed by funeral service at 1:00pm.

Memorial donations can be made to Toronto General Hospital Transplant team.  Heather can also be remembered by planting roses, a symbol of lung transplant.
