ORSER, Deborah Lynn (nee Kirke)

January 8, 1954 – March 12, 2025

Deb passed peacefully and quietly in her sleep at home accompanied by her loving husband, Gordon, and her loving companion Missy. She passed from congestive heart failure at 71 years young.

Deb was a loving wife, grandmother, and mother. She loved children and her calling as an Elementary School Teacher. She had retired after a long career of assisting kindergarten and Special Needs children. She was a teacher who gave everything she had to make her students learn in a fun environment and truly cared about all of them.

Predeceased by her loving parents, Charlie and Pearl Kirke.

Deb will be forever loved and dearly missed by her husband, Gordon. She will be missed by her children, Lauren and Darren (and spouses); grand-children Clara, Addie, Edison and Archer; step-children Erin, Evan, Adrienne (and spouses); grand-children Autumn, Luna, Alexia, Octavia, Henry, Lillian and Arthur.

She was also loved by her brother Gary, Uncle Gord Kirke and many in-laws and cousins and spouses.

Deb possessed the most beautiful and genuine smile. Her loving spirit shimmered through her sparkling eyes. Her beauty was breathtaking and my heart melts when I remember her.

She was a romantic who loved life and committed her heart completely to her husband, her friends and family and of course her furry companion Missy. Her kind spirit was felt by everyone who met her. She never lost the innocence of her childhood and carried that joy throughout her life.

Deb rejoiced in the change of seasons and enjoyed decorating for every holiday celebration. She shared that joy with everyone who knew and loved her.

Deb was one of God’s special Angels on earth and she is now at peace resting in His Hands.

It was Deb’s desire that her Celebration of Life would consist of families, and friends, joining together with their loved ones. To spend a moment of joy and love in her honour and then hold onto that moment throughout their lives.

Cremation has taken place and it was her wish that her ashes be spread in a special location that she shared with her husband.

I miss you and will always love you. Your husband, lover and best-friend. Forever yours, Gord.
