Get Ready for Kindergarten
Join us at the library to get your child ready for kindergarten. This is a four week series; however, feel free to sign up for the specific week(s) that your child needs. Please register your child (parents do not need to register but a care giver’s attendance is required). Cost: Free. Mondays in June at Elmvale Branch, 10:30am. Registration required. Topics covered include: ABC’s, Phonics, and Printing their name, Numbers, Shapes, and Patterns, Packing lunches and Backpack needs.
Summer Reading Program Registration
Registration opens Monday June 1 at 10am. Dive into a summer of discovery with our TD Summer Reading Program, where readers explore the depths of the sea through books, stories, and hands-on activities inspired by marine life and underwater exploration. There are two separate registration options: Online Reading Log at ReadSquared to track their reading throughout the summer and earn exciting prizes! Your parents can read to you, you can read to your parents, you can read by yourself, you can listen to a book on a trip. There’s no wrong way to spend time with a good book! In-Person Program Registration through our online calendar is also required for our weekly library programs, which include a STEM program and an ocean-themed program with crafts, games and activities at both the Elmvale and Midhurst branches. PA Day Program: Games Day
This PA Day play old favourites, learn a new game, or bring one to share! There is no registration required for this drop-in program. Friday June 5, Elmvale and Midhurst Branches. Starts at 10am.
Senior Social and Crafting
Drop by the library for a fun gathering of crafting and socializing! This is an excellent opportunity for seniors in the community to connect for a fun morning of creativity! Friday June 12, 11am at Midhurst Branch. Cost: Free. Registration required.
Drop-In Craft
The library will be offering a fun drop-in craft at both its Elmvale and Midhurst Branches. This program will be available as long as supplies last. There is no registration required for this free program. Thursday June 18: Rainbow fan
Creative Adults: Paint a Pot
Relax and get creative at the library! Adults are invited to paint and personalize a clay pot perfect for gardens, herbs, or houseplants. All supplies provided – no experience needed. Enjoy a laid-back afternoon of art and leave with a pot that’s uniquely yours. Tuesday June 23, 2pm at Elmvale Branch

Father’s Day Card
Come to the library and make a Father’s Day card. We will provide all the supplies, you provide your own unique creativity! Saturday June 20, 10am at Elmvale and Midhurst Branches.
