Just outside of Huntsville is the Sandhill Nursery. This unique business offers more than the usual plants and trees for sale. For this October the large property is filled with pumpkins and Halloween decorations, perfect for snapping that perfect selfie. Large blow-up pumpkins, gigantic Frankenstein monsters, and beautiful landscaping with an October theme spread across the fields. There is something for everyone here, as the children will enjoy the pirate show, complete with a pumpkin firing cannon, as well as the play areas and maze. There is also an interactive dog show with pooches of all breeds racing through an obstacle course and doing incredible tricks. Adults will love the artwork displayed both in the shops and outside on the grounds, and of course there is lots of shopping to be done in the gift shops. If you have worked up an appetite after roaming the farm, there is a small bistro style café where you can grab a bite to eat. Continue your exploration, stopping to take photos of the old cars painted in eclectic designs and look upward at the rows of umbrellas hanging high overhead. If you are here after dark, a magical trail winds through the forest, filled with lights and sounds to celebrate the season. Soon the nursery will switch to a winter and Christmas theme, which is a spectacular display. This is not just your average nursery; this is a must see destination.
