LALONDE, Donald

October 4,1942 to December 12, 2025

Passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, surrounded by his family, at GBGH, at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Peggy (Bush) Lalonde, married 53 years. Loving father to six children, Mark (Kathy), Darryl (Christine), Greg (Mitch), Kelley (Brian), Scott (Lindsay), and Vince. He was loving Papa to eleven grandchildren. Don will be sadly missed by his brother Victor (Sherrin) Lalonde, his many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Don was a long-time entrepreneur in the Midland area, o/o of Don’s Towing for 40 plus years until retirement. Through the years he had many different passions and interests including antique cars, snowmobiles, CB radios and boating on beautiful Georgian Bay. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10th at the Midland Legion. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the Family.
