Grace Priest

Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Tri-Town in Haileybury on Sunday, April 12, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Fred Priest. Loving mother to Michelle Caron (Glenn). Adored by her grandchildren Dante and Carter (Celia) Caron. Stepmom to Cathie Vezeau (the late Frank), Randy, the late James, and Bonni Cripps (Karl). Grace will be missed by her step‑grandchildren Kristyl Priest, Tanya Heckhaus (Mik), Saundra Vezeau (Sean), Colton Priest (Jamie), Robert Cripps (Shae), Nicole Priest  (Coran), Shelby Priest as well as her great‑grandson Connor Heckhaus. Grace is survived by her brother Daniel Fleming (Christine) as well as her sister‑in‑law Sharon Pelletier, who was her closest friend until her final days.

A longtime employee of Albarrie Canada for over 30 years, Grace also volunteered with Canadian Mental Health and the Georgian Bay Steam Show. Grace was an avid walker, cross‑country skier, and generally loved the outdoors — especially winter.

She will be remembered for her kindness, love of Elvis Presley, and her good nature and sense of humour.

Our most sincere thanks goes to the staff at Extendicare Tri‑Town and Dr. Don Davies for giving her the best care possible in her final years.

Mrs. Priest’s final care has been entrusted to the Buffam Leveille funeral home. A celebration of life will take place on Sunday May 31st  from 1 – 4 pm at Elmvale Lion’s Club 1979 7th Concession FLOS West Elmvale. Condolences and tributes may be shared at www.buffamleveille.com
