OSBORNE, Linda

​It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Osborne on September 6, 2026, at Georgian Bay General Hospital.

​Originally from St. Catharines, Linda was a dedicated, long-time employee in the Advertising Department at the Toronto Star. Warm and wonderful, she was very well liked by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

​Linda was the beloved wife and the love of his life to Bruce Lloyd, with whom she shared 22 wonderful years of marriage. She leaves behind her stepdaughters Cindy (Sean) and Laura (Becca), her estranged son Sean, her cherished grandchildren Michelle, Mathew, Monica & step-grandchildren Kaileigh, Zack, Ben, Curtis, Josh, Graeme, Carleen, and Evan.

​She will be sadly missed by her sister Diane (Wayne) & predeceased sisters Ruth (Dennis) & Mavis (Steve).

​Bruce and the family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Georgian Bay General Hospital for the excellent and compassionate care Linda received during her time there.

​A private family service will be held at the cemetery. The family kindly requests no flowers.
