Wanda was the 4th child born to Lorna & Edgar and lived in the Allenwood area until Edgar moved their family home to Balm Beach, Ontario.  Wanda worked at various jobs in her earlier years in many different places.  She was in Midland & London, Ontario, Uranium City & Melfort, Saskatchewan before returning to Balm Beach in 1964 where she lived next door to her parents.  Wanda was also a great cook, loved to bake and worked many years catering and cooking in restaurants.  A few years after raising her children Wanda & Carl were on the move.  In 1981 they moved to Lodgepole, AB where brothers Larry & Joe were as well 2 of her children were nearby.  In 1988 she moved back home to the Midland area and has been there ever since.

Wanda was the life of the party, loved to have family & friends for meals and there was always enough food for whoever happened to drop in on Sunday, or any day for that matter. Everybody was welcome, nobody left hungry.  She enjoyed some time in Arizona, loved to go rving, to bingo or the casino.  Wanda was never at a loss for words and you knew where you stood with her.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all the wonderful caring staff at the Villa Care Centre for their excellent care of Wanda during her stay.

As per Wanda’s request there will be no funeral.

Memorial donations made to Parkinson’s Canada would be appreciated.
