Elmvale Foodbank Needs Donations

If you do not read this article please do not donate to the Elmvale and District Food Bank this month. However, if you do read this article we will gladly receive your generous donation. There are several options for donating;
- in-person during our business hours,
- e-transfer to elmvalefoodbankinfo@gmail.com,
- through the website
- Collection boxes at Elmvale Foodland, Elmvale Guardian and all branches of Springwater Library.
A special event is being held at The Orr Lake Golf Club on (new date) August 24th starting at 6 pm. We thank BACKYARD BBQ for supporting the food bank with this event which promises excellent food and fun entertainment. For information call 705-790-8677

Lioness Lions Support EDHS graduating students
Carol Huntley Award – Aidan McGuigan is a wonderful young man who Carol would be proud to receive this honour. He is attending Western University for a science program in September.
Elmvale Lioness Lions Club Award – Talia Fleischmann is a very deserving young woman who will be attending Laurentian University in September and plans on becoming an elementary school teacher.
Lion Lynn Patkau hands each of them $500.
Elmvale Lion Donate $33,000 for MRI
Elmvale Lions work hard to raise $33,000 through various projects like the Truck Draw and this photo was taken at the Lions Golf Tournament on July 6, 2024. Great works, Lions Roar!!!
